pedal pull rod right? the way i ended up doing it was to use a propane torch to soften the end and bend it with some pliers, but this looks a lot "cooler" less chance of accidentally burning myself.

i read somewhere that a guy mixed pull fingers with scissor fingers. i think it was maybe one string he used a scissor style on to achieve some more accuracy for a certain operation, but it seemed like potentially a good idea just in case.

where's a good starting point to learn a 6 string pedal steel? i made one and i can't tell if it's any good or not because I come from regular guitar playing and so playing with the bar puts me in a position where everything i play sounds about the same. I've got an A, B, and LKL and LKR. (edit, just as i typed I noticed that Troy Brenningmeyer on youtube has a few videos about learning this exact thing.) but how did you break through to the next level of playing with slide guitars?
